This work is a reflection on bygone memories, once taken for granted, now irreplicable. As the work unfolds, listen as the simple melody morphs into increasingly-complex textures before retuning to harmonies reminiscent of the opening. Memories, Irreplicable was composed for pianist Huizi Zhang for the Consonance Collective 2023 album project.
