This piece imagines a dialogue between a child on earth and their parent on the other side, set against the changing sky. A person gazes at the rainy sky, struggling to accept the loss of a beloved parent, questions rising in their mind that will go unanswered, until Angel’s Ladder appears through the clouds, calling gently, “Look up, look up!” Sensing their parent’s spirit nearby, the child dares to speak, allowing themselves to be vulnerable, and the parent responds in spirit. As they bid farewell, the child finally lets them go into the twilight, feeling the warmth inside.
