Blue Ridge Sketches by Chia-Yu Hsu is one of the five winning works of the 2025 Abundant Silence Composition Contest. The piece enchanted the judging panel with its beautiful musical atmospheres, and the scenic imagery it evokes. The work is wonderfully pianistic and makes great use of the entire timbral range of the piano.
